What we are learning:  Community Helpers     Color: Black        Shape: rectangle

Notes from the Teacher:

Hello February! We are busy learning about community helpers and will continue this all the way until February Vacation! We had a fun experiment where we learned all about the importance of covering your mouth when you sneeze.  We used a balloon and when the balloon was released, the germs (hole punches) came out! There were some that flew 5-6 feet across the room! The children were amazed how far germs can spread when you don’t cover your mouth.  It was great to see their eyes light up with excitement!

I did send home a note asking for warm jackets, hats, and gloves to go outside on the playground.  There is no snow out there right now and we want to take advantage of it every moment we can! Thank you so much for your help!
