Online Book Fair through Junior Library Guild...November 16th-29th

On Friday, November 13th, Nottingham West will be celebrating World Kindness Day. Kindness and respect are core values of the Nottingham West Community.  As part of our celebration, staff and students are encouraged to dress like Mr. Rogers in a cardigan and sneakers.  Fred Rogers often spoke of how important it is to look for the helpers during times of stress and chaos, and we want our students to know that they can be the helpers that others look for.

We will also be creating “link of love and kindness” – paper chains with message and pictures of kindness on them.  Since our classrooms have to maintain physical distance from each other, we want a visual reminder that we are still all connected as one community by kindness and caring.
